Applecross Care Home provides residential care for elderly residents alongside a specialist unit that cares for younger people with physical disabilities and other illnesses that require short-term or long-term nursing support. Applecross’ Hurlet Nursing Home provides care for 22 older people and 60 younger people with physical and sensory impairments.

We undertook the construction of two, 3 storey new build timber frame extensions providing additional 39 and 24 en-suite bedrooms along with:

  • Nurse care worker facilities
  • Communal lounge areas
  • Dining areas on each floor
  • Lifts
  • Therapy rooms
  • Cinema
  • Commercial Kitchen
  • Laundry
  • M&E installations, isolations and connections inc fire suppression sprinkler system
  • Road upgrade with new car parking and installation of septic tanks along with soft and hard landscaping
